Channels 1/2/3 are soprano, alto and bass; CC1 sets the vowel, CC3 the glide
onset and CC4 the vibrato rate. (Links resolve on the
published page; running from a local file they will 404 — generate them with
python3 tools/song_to_midi.py.)
Channel map mirrors the planned firmware: ch 1 soprano, ch 2 alto, ch 3 bass; other channels play the soprano. CC1 vowel morph, CC4 vibrato rate, pitch bend ±2 semitones. Articulation is by formant glides only — no consonant noise (narrow-band bursts ring like beeps through resonant filters; see NOTES.md).
